how many of those that craft a rarer materail of more regular materails are there? I only know of one and that one is outside ascalon, so if there are more, where thell do they hide their arses?

Well how far along are you in the game. There is also a rare material crafter that sells the same stuff as the crafter you know of located right outside Fort Ranik. Later on in the North Shiverpeaks there is one located in the Ascalon Foothills. After that there is one in Nebo Terrace. Not sure about crafters in Maguuma but there is another in the desert and a couple more in the south shivers. If you've got a character that has already made it to Droks, you can get to the rare crafter in Talus Chute by running northwest from the exit from Droknar's Forge.

Theres only like 1-2 materials that are worth crafting over just buying, and the one outside Ascalon has all of those, so Just never really look for more.

There's a rare material crafter south of Henge of Denravi (or go east then north from Maguuma Staid) that crafts things like Vellum, Damask, Deldrimore steel, and anything else the requires glittering dust to make.
